HAZARDOUS MATERIALS Students will be studying HAZARDOUS MATERIALS in our homes. They are asked to look around their homes in the kitchen, bathroom, garage, storage areas etc... for examples of hazardous materials. Students have been reminded that they are not to touch any of the materials without adult supervison. We will be researching hazardous materials and then working with Mr. Dolinski to create infomercials/commercials on the safe use/storage/disposal of hazardous materials. Grade 7 Science: In February, students will be studying the Particle Theory of Matter. Three lab reports will be assigned. Students will be studying HEAT ENERGY and are asked to begin gathering supplies for an Energy Barrier that they will be constructing in Science class . (containers, insulating fabrics, plastic, etc...)
