we will work on some editing next week so please come prepared with ideas for an introduction, a body, and a conclusion for your report.

For the next two weeks we will be working on an "I Wonder..." assignment. Some of the details can be found below. Most of the work should be completed during the school day, but students are asked to generate a list of things that they wonder about for homework and have it completed by Wednesday Sept. 16. Students are also asked to discuss with their families and friends some of the things that they wonder about.

I wonder projects and presentations will be due on Monday, sept. 28.

Hello again everyone. First of all thank you for a great first day!! I am confident there are many more great days of work, learning, activity and fun ahead for us. tomorrow 6 Peterson is scheduled to have phys. Ed. so please come prepared with gym clothes and runners. 6 Peterson is also reminded that we will begin working on our "what's in the box?" assignment tomorrow. if possible try to bring a box, and some materials for decorating. most importantly, be sure to be thinking about items that you feel will be important to include for helping your classmates get to know you a little bit better. for more ideas about the upcoming assignment you can check the following link:

Hello parents and grade 6 students in 6 Peterson and
6 Andrews. I am excited about the school year beginning and I look forward to meeting all of the students tomorrow. our prime goal for the first couple of days will be to get to know each other, and begin to get comfortable with our school related routines. on the first day of class students will be receiving their planners. We will be expecting students to use the planners everyday, and for the start of the year I feel it would be valuable if parents checked and signed the planner once a week. tomorrow we will go through some of the supplies that we will need for next week, and begin using our planners and website. I hope you have a nice evening. see you tomorrow!!

I think we have a lot to look forward to this year. we will certainly have some fun, and we will have opportunities to work very hard.
