feb. 11: students should be working on their "mini" space project. please remember our guide: 2 - 1 - 4 ( 2 facts, 1 clue, 4 images) This is only a guide, as depending on your topic you may need more clues, fewer images, etc...
don't forget to be adding to your "objects I have seen in the night sky" checklist.
Nov. 13: FLIGHT RESEARCH: 1) Students are asked to choose 5 -10 important moments in the "History of Flight" and record them in a timeline in chronological order. 2) Pick one event that seems particularly interesting and gather notes that include the following: a) dates b) background information (what was going on in the world at that time) c) names of groups or individuals involved d) places e) human interest pieces f) pictures g) ***What was the significance of this event in the history of flight?*** You will be expected to create a "Newsmagazine" type of report or news broadcast. This assignment can be completed with a partner and will be presented.
